FROM TAP WEBSITE TODAY 24 JULY 2014
TAP changes operation due to the delay in the delivery of the new aircrafts SEE CANCELLATIONS
TAP has announced the expansion of its network by reinforcing some preexisting destinations and adding 11 new routes.
In order to support such a growth, the company contracted 6 Airbus aircrafts to add to its fleet: two A330, for the long haul flights, two A319 and two A320 for the medium haul flights.
Due to reasons beyond our control, there was a delay in the delivery of the aircrafts. Consequently, it was necessary to reprogram our operation and contract other airlines aircrafts.
The changes in our operation are being transmitted to our passengers through our Contact Center, as long as there is a contact number registered on the reservation.
Nevertheless, TAP fully intends to fulfill its commitments to its passengers. Therefore, and in order to minimize the inconveniences that this situation may cause, we kindly request our passengers, with active reservations for the flights mentioned bellow, to contact TAP directly in order to ensure the best possible alternative.
If the reservation was made via a travel agency, we kindly request our passengers to contact the agency directly.
