11/30/08 Fortlauderdale taxi drivers supposingly make $50 a day?
11/29/08 Saturday, Fortlauderdale airport, long lines today for a taxi due to a taxi drivers strike. Airport was up on this and imported taxi drivers from other areas and extra shuttle vans. Unfortunately this was not enough.
Complaints regarding access to Port Everglades security, they only have one access point.
Lincoln town cars and shuttle vans take single fares away from taxi drivers. Town cars should be adequately marked with decals if they pick people of the curb like taxi's. Makes sense security wise.
Drivers also want officials to enforce a law that bars Miami-Dade County cabbies from picking up fares in Broward,
