7/20/09 Hot and humid weather came with railway employee 5 hour strike across the whole country of Pakistan. Thousands of passengersleft stranded. Disrupted service from Lahore to Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar. Express and Mail passenger trains at Lahore, Lahore Cantonment, Shahdra, Gujrat and Faisalabad railway stations. The strike multiplied the miseries of thousands of passengers including old men, women and children at the railway stations.
