Announced today, July 2, 2013 Barcelona bus drivers to strike on Thursday, July 11, 2013, 11AM - 4PM and Friday, Jul 12 from 9 - 11am and 4PM - 6PM. Expect extra traffic on roads, overflow on Metro and taxi shortage. Make sure you've booked and confirmed a shuttle to the airport.

Update:-15 October 2012 Barcelona bus strike is still going on. Drivers striking from 9-11am and 4-6pm.
Monday 1 October only 50% of service will run at peak times.
Tuesday 2 October starts indefinite strike. Bus drivers will strike 2 hours at the beginning of each shift. 2-4am 9-11am 4-6pm.
