Ryanair adjusted to this strike by giving passengers a choice of landing in another airport, change flight to a different day or fly with no luggage. Perhaps your airline will follow a similar routine or use managers as handlers or bring in scabs.

Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral Pilot Labor Strike
Tuesday, 12 August 2014 Argentinian pilot strike today was cut short (noon) by the Government, but not before several thousand passengers were left stranded at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and Ezeiza - Ministro Pistarini International Airport.
30 International and local flights by Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral were cancelled. Miami, Caracas, Bogota.
Union states flights will be back to normal soon. Pilots looking for a 35% pay raise and some elimination of some taxes. Pilot contract ends September. Pilots gross salaries nearly $11,000 a month. Co-pilots earnings are considerable less $2,400 per month. Per AP.
The unions involved AAA, the APLA and the UA.
(My opinion only. Do yourself a big favor choose another airline, at least till a new contract is signed, which could take months in this economy. You will be stung, possibly, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year)
